Axe Throwing: What you need to know

Ready to unleash your inner warrior? Whether you’re a seasoned thrower or trying it for the first time, our state-of-the-art axe throwing lanes are designed for safe, competitive fun. Here’s everything you need to know before you throw!

Getting Started: Axe Throwing 101

  1. Arrive Early
    1. Please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation to check in, sign waivers if you haven’t online, and go through a quick safety briefing.
  2. Safety First
    1. Our expert staff will guide you through:
      1. Proper throwing technique
      2. Lane safety rules
      3. How to score a game
  3. Dress Appropriately
    1. Closed-toe shoes are required – no exceptions
    2. Comfortable clothing is recommended for easy movement
  4. Learn the Basics
    1. Use a two-handed or one-handed throwing grip
    2. Aim for the bullseye, adjust your stance and stick your shot
    3. Coaches will be nearby to help you sharpen your skills!

Game Time & Rules

  1. Each session lasts a minimum of 60 minutes (extended times available)
  2. You can throw solo or compete in games like:
    1. Around the World
    2. 21
    3. Standard Bullseye Challenge
  3. Up to 6 throwers per target at a time
  4. Ages 8+ welcome with a parent/guardian present
  5. Safety & Supervision
    1. All participants must sign a waiver
    2. Instructors are always on hand to ensure safety and guide your experience
    3. No horseplay or intoxicated behavior is tolerated – safety is our top priority
  6. Reservations & Walk-Ins
    1. Walk-ins welcome, but reservations are recommended during weekends and events
    2. Perfect for:
      1. Group outings
      2. Date nights
      3. Bachelor/bachelorette parties
      4. Company team-building events
